What gives a "house electrician" the legal authority to do electrical work?? Any kind of degrees or license needed here? Some of these guys should stick to painting walls and ceilings

Most states allow them to extend a branch circuit legally. House Electrician covers a very large area and many are specialists within their own field because they know their company's equipment. Most that i have worked with know their limitations and stay out of our trade, those that don't usually expose themselves and i usually help them "FALL ON THEIR FACE"!
