Even if you don't apply demand factors 100% of 11.75 kW is just shy of 49 amps. I don't know what your mentioned 1/0 is all about but is overkill even for 100% demand factor.

You can still use 11.75KW for your circuit sizing and service/feeder calculation, but the code ALLOWS a demand factor. You don't have to use the demand factor.
