I have a neighbor who asked me to install the electric for a window A/C unit on their houseboat. There is currently one 30 amp shore power used to supply the bulk of the boat. I?ve been told there is another 30 amp on the dock that is unused.

If I understand what they want is to have another shore power outlet installed on the boat so they can connect the A/C to this dedicated circuit.

I would like to hear what special considerations I should be aware of. :confused:
