Here we go 14/2 65.00
12/2-100.00
12/3-154.95
10/2-182.03
10/3-243.82
8/3 and above for range outlets it's probably cheaper to have Emeril come to your house and cook for you.

The Fed has been raising interest rates. Add that to the rising cost of copper and other construction metal, as well as PVC and anything made from Petroleum. Seems like the housing boom is gonna bust.

Maybe we can all find jobs that illegals don't want to do.

Just passed through Big Orange today and checked 14/2 and 12/2 prices here in northern NJ.

14/2 - $68.00/250' coil Last week it was $38.00 or so

12/2 - $102.00/250' coil Last week it was $69.00 or so

It's nearing the price of gold. Pretty soon my wife will be looking real stylish in her new copper jewelry !!!!!!!!!!! Cause I started saving all my scraps.

So - What wording do y'all use to protect your bids due to rising copper prices?

I'm thinking about putting a statement that says, "Price is subject to change due to market fluctuations" and changing to a 24 hour wait upon acceptance of a bid.

What do ya think?

conway, Arkansas

12-2 1000 foot spool $500

most residential contractors around here are not bidding work anymore
they are telling new customers/contractors that it will be on Time/Material
and people are taking it that way... for now

btw.. 2/0 copper @ 4.50 a foot... price quotes on wire at Keathly Patterson only good for 2 hours

Last summer I was buying 500 for less than $4/foot.

I just bought a 500' roll of it for $6.95/foot. I hope I don't need much more, they told me it was going up over $9/foot.
