I have a customer with an old home, the current Federal Pacific meter/main panel has exterior plumbing running underneath and multiple conduits running up to the panel. Service is overhead.
The current panel/meter location is not Green Book compliant. The only complaint location is 20 feet away.
What I am considering is installing a meter base only at the Green Book compliant location which ideally would need to be installed as close to the edge of the building as possible. And installing a new main panel in the same location as the old panel.
How close to edge of building a meter can be placed is one of my questions, Green Book shows clearances but I did not see a minimum from the edge of a building.
