How do I calculate my hours?

Greetings!
I am filling out the application to Reciprocate my Colorado Journeyman License to North Dakota for a job I am offered.
The application wants to know my last 8 employers and how much time I spent in Residential, Commercial, Industrial and so forth.
I have to prove that I have a minimum of 8000 hours.
But I don't have any record of how much time I have spent in Industrial or commercial but I do have the dates when I was employed.

So, how do I go about giving an honest answer?
I've been a Journeyman since 2001.

Thanks!

I doubt they expect you to know the breakdown real close.

You should have a record of how many hours of pay your received during those times, or at least something close from your tax records.

You should be able to estimate what percentage of the hours was in each category.

For instance if you worked 2000 hours in a year and approximately 3 months of that was residential, I would count that as 500 hours.

Greetings!
Thanks for the response. I just spoke with the friendly folks at the North Dakota Electrical Building.
She told me that when they receive my payment and the application to reciprocate, They will send a letter to each and every company that I've worked for to verify that what I put down for hours was true. They wait for a response from the employer in writing.
I asked her that since I was a member of the IBEW if I could just put down a total of 4 years/ 8000 hours. She said they do not contact the IBEW so I need to write down every Employer that I've worked for, put down the dates worked and the hours worked.
This is going to get interesting because now I have to do my homework and go through all my books, contact everyone that I've worked for.

I wish I could just show my Journeyman License and they would say "Welcome to North Dakota". :D
