I was wondering how to calculate the lighting allowance in for a 1000 ft restaraunt dining area remodel that will comply with Title 24. No other items will change.
How do you calculate the lighting allowance for a Restaraunt - CA Title 24

Watch out for "display window" requirements if you have a weird inspector.

I am confused as to the allowable watts/sgft .
I know there is a max allowable lighting budged for new buildings but how do you do a existing?
Someone said 1.2 w/sqft. That seems low.
