Just want to throw this out there How much would you charge for this little project. I did this last week and I'm just curious what others might charge. The customer was greatly pleased with the entire outcome. This is a good customer.

1) Remove old Heat Vent Lite from basement bath, and replace with new Broan QTX11FLT Heat Vent Light& nite Lite requiring 6" ducting, on separate 120V 20 A circuit as required by manufacturer. This circuit with GFCI protection requested by the home owner (wants GFCI breaker). Panel is located 50 ft away from bathroom. Must slide ceiling tiles to side to drill thru joists and run wire.

Ceiling in bathroom is a tight drop ceiling with custom cut tile sizes and grid. We have room in ceiling to install fan but limited on locations because of heat ducts and plumbing runs.

Must operate new unit with four separate wall switches, Install new separate switch for light above sink. Separate from existing fan light. To fit switch must cut in and fish at different location.

New Heat Vent Fan Light is much larger and ceiling tile / grid work must be custom fit after fan installation. To vent fan must cut through siding and rim joist terminate with a Broan 641 AL wall cap. Vent run was approximately 4.5 feet. Cutting through siding and rim joist was easier than I thought. The most difficult part of this whole thing was re cutting ceiling tile and grid work because it was like putting together a puzzle.

2 Change out trim in recessed light above sink ( thats easy) Install new surface mount fixture above sink on separate switch from recess light.

3 Install exterior receptacle cut into rim joist and put on a 7 day digital timer, and put GFCI next to timer so if it ever trips it can be reset from the inside. Exterior recept can be fed off local circuit in basement not the heater circuit though!

4 Wire for wall switch to controll lights in Furnace room ( tired of pull chains)
had to cut wall switch in and fish wire. Entire basement is finished with drop ceiling and grid work very tight tiles, minus furnace room thats wide open.

Thanks

A couple of adders The house is approximately 30 years old, has an updated 200 amp service, Clean working enviornment. No other trades to compete for space with. New siding and doors and windows. rest of the house seems to have decent wiring and updated wiring. so everything looks good That I can physically see. Homeowner always pays and never grumbles. Originally I was only supposed to swap out the HVL's but the rest was requested in progress.
