How tall of a pole do i need to maintain proper vertical clearance?

hey all,
sorry if im posting this in the wrong forum, but im trying to find out if there is some sort of formula to show how tall of a pole you need to use to maintain proper vertical clearance with overhead conductors. specifically i need a veritcal clearance of 12' over a distance of 60'. is there a way to figure out how tall of a pole i need to accomplish this?

As the others have posted: yes there is a way.

If you would like help with the calcs, we would need:
Wire size and type
Lowest attachment point distance from the top of the pole
Type of soil (to determine adequate pole depth)
Location (for wind and ice loading conditions)
Loading (to determine the max wire temperature)

You may also want to consider the pole class (diameter). Concerns are vertical load (usually not the main concern) and horizontal load. Information needed would include things like wire tension, dead-end vs tangent configuration, additional horizontal and vertical loads.
