Hello everyone,

I’m working with ETAP (version 21.0.1C) to manage and tweak configurations for interconnected elements. I can export the data (IDs and configurations) to an Excel file, make edits there, and now I’m looking for a streamlined way to import those changes back into ETAP to update each element automatically. Has anyone set up a process for re-importing modified Excel data to update configurations? Any tips or best practices would be super helpful!

Thank you 😊

ETAP is a power management software…
ETAP is power analysis software.
It is a competitor to SKM.

Once I got used to its onelines, I preferred ETAP. We were able to tweak its reports to fit our company format. But that was 6 years ago.

Have you spoken with the support engineers?

My guess it is not allowed to be edited outside the software package and reloaded.
Unless the data can be validated for correct ranges you could crash the program if you put in values that the program would not allow when making selections or inputting values from within the software package.
