In my 220kV OPY, using 6 relays SEL311 (3 SEL 311L, 3 SEL 311C). I want to connect the relays to computer (use Sel Quickset software), which is set at the powerhouse (distance is 1.5 km). Our relay includes only 3 ports (2 EIA 232, 1 EIA 485). Port EIA 485 used to DNP3 protol. So, I can only through the EIA 232 ports. I have 2 RS232 to fiber converter, and 2 fiber optic lines. As I know, we can only connect a relay with the software at a time by default SEL protocol. Ordinary, if I want to connect to the relay, I will plug the cable into each relay. How to connect 6 relays to computer at powerhouse to access? Is LMD protocol support this type of connection?

Install an SEL-3530 RTAC and setup transparent connections. This will allow you to connect to all relays without changing cables.

I don't think AcSELerator has the capability to talk LMD. You can use LMD to get SCADA data but, to send and receive settings, SER, EVE files, I think you need to use a 2030, 3530, or a Teltone telephone switch.

How to setup transparent connections by AcSELerator RTAC software? If I do so, can I connect to SEL Quickset software to 6 relays. Which are the ports and protocols on 311L and 3530 used?
I only know how to connect them to SCADA system via DNP, Modbus, etc... protocol if I additional install an SEL-3530 RTAC device.

I just research this again. If I use 3530, I will how to connect them? I only want to use serial ports.
