Recently, I tried to form a snubber circuit with diodes, inductors, resistors and irf840 in parallel, to protect IRF840.
But how can I determine the parameters of inductance and resistance?
Or can I determine the parameters of the snubber circuit from the magnitude and width of the surge current?
