I have a 240 v 3-phase main service panel with a wild leg. I know this because of the following:
a. All line to line measurements (A-B, B-C, C-A) are 240v.
b. The wild leg (B) to neutral/ground (D) measures 208v.
c. Line A to neutral/ground (D) measures 120v.
d. Line C to neutral/ground (D) measures 120v.
Question: How do I wire a 208v 3-phase kiln using this main service panel? The 208v 3-phase kiln has four wires (i.e., 3 hots, 1 safety ground).
Is it as simple as connecting Lines A, B (wild leg), C from the main service panel to the kiln’s three hot lines in any order and then connecting Line D from the main service panel to the kiln’s safety ground?
