How to post photos ?

Sorry if the answer to this is obvious--

When I try to post a photo I get asked for a URL for the photo.
What if the photo is on my desktop and does not have a web address ?

What am I missing ?

Use the uplink button, next to the white smiley. It looks like a paper clip.

So, where is the picture? Inquiring minds want to know.:grin:

This is how I attach photo's:

1-Upload them to a hosting site, I use Picasa which is free [http://picasa.google.com/]

2-After uploading the photo's to Picasa open the photo to view it in Picasa

3- Right click on the photo and click on "properties"

4- Highlight and Copy [Ctrl C] the URL after the properties page opens

5- In your post type

, insert the URL between the two bracketed boxes like this:

There may be a simpler way to do this but this is my method. This method will also work if your looking to insert a photo from a web page. Good Luck.
