The last 2 posts were 100% on topic. You are wrong to delete this as it was answered as a direct answer to the ops question.
Delete the thread if you dont like the topic however I doubt you even know what it is about. It is about obtaining credentials to give you access to WORK areas involving a homeland security and FBI background check.
Some electricians may be interested in discussing this as it will determine if you can work or not.
The application process is very tedious and that is why you dont understand the posts. This is important to all electricians who wish to work in these areas. No tickey No workey.
It will be taking effect almost immediately across the united states.

We were required to get TWIC cards at work . We have a lot of substations that are located inside refineries and Chem plants along the Mississippi River .
And they DO ask for them upon entry now .

On a side note, at our site we require any contractors working on site to have a TWIC card. No TWIC card and we have to have a TWIC baby sitter, kinda of costly. So far most of our contractors have complied and obtained the TWIC card. Nothing more aggravating than recieving a call that the utility company wants access to the site to do meter readings.

How many men can a twic babysitter watch and how much do they charge per day?
