I have a number of CS6365 Hubbell connectors I need to refurbish. The main problem is someone at some point over tightened the set screws and stripped out the Alumimum threads in the clamp.

Anyone know what these things are called and where they might be able to be sourced?

How many connectors are you fixing? If it's only a few, it probably not worth the time to source the parts when you could get entirely new connectors.

That said, I don't know what that part would be called and it's probably not an approved replacement anyway (probably wouldn't stop me from replacing them for most uses).

CS6365C (black / white) or CS6365L (all black with 2 screws to hold the backshell to the plug body) ?
I just grabbed a CS6365C here and its box lugs are copper not AL, furthermore the terminals are captive in a permanent assembly.

Edit, I looked at a CS6365L and it has aluminum lugs and looks like it can be disassembled with a couple screws.

I doubt hubbell will sell those (or even has them -this connector is made in china) as a separate part. Years ago they wouldn't sell us just the backshell for 5-15 straight blade plugs.

I checked a couple lug manufacturers and the V bottom ones don't seem to be available as they don't really have any application outside of connector and terminal block internals.

How many damaged connectors do you have? Are all the lugs damaged on each? Maybe you can make 1 good one out of 2 bad ones or something.

tl;dr -internal connector parts not replaceable, the plugs are worn out replace them.

i have used a similar lug by burndy, but it’s a one hole lug in copper. If you cut the one hole tang off it might work. But I suspect the v part fits over a pin looking part. The wire goes between pin And v part of lug

Go to ebay.com. Type in "hubbell twist lock". You will find lots of used parts. Get a large lot of that uses the same lugs and cannibalize them.
