I am sitting here on the Gulf Coast waiting for that monster to arrive. Its is estimated to arrive about 5 pm. Alls done that can be done. Generator started. I'm glad for that. I blamed my neighbor's wife for this. Since she moved in 18 month ago we have been hit by 2 hurricanes and a tropical storm. She has to go.

Re: Hurricane Dennis

I returned early from vacation cause of Dennis. Was in Pittsburgh and had to time getting back between Cindy and soon enough if Dennis took his original path. All you can do now is keep the beer cold.Look at it this way, come morning you have more work than you can handle :D

Re: Hurricane Dennis

Hold on to it as long as possible! :D I want it to blow its self out some before it gets to us. We aren't up to another huricane Fredrick which this looks to be. We did have a trial run with Ivan last fall.

Roger, depending on what part of Tampa your right. There are hoods that i would refuse to go into at night.Just glad i live in Pasco county on far north end of Tampa. And i am serious he needs to be very carefull over there.

Re: Hurricane Dennis

Jim, to put your mind at ease, I think Ryan is going to visit Mike Holt, so I don't think he'll be hangin in the darker sides of town. ;)

Re: Hurricane Dennis

How do we know Mike or Ryan don't have a local watering hole they like to stop into when they're in the neighborhood? :D

Re: Hurricane Dennis

Sam, I know Ryan and I have lunch at the watering hole at times, but I think if you're visiting Mike it'll probably be more church oriented. :)

That's what I was assuming but somehow it doesn't sound very interesting when you say it like that. :D

Re: Hurricane Dennis

(Coming to a theater near you...)
(Read in that movie-voiceover--you know, the guy who hasn't had a drink of water in three years, pretending he's actually excited about the fourteenth take of the fifteenth movie voiceover he's done this morning...)

It seemed like an innocent trip, just flying down to Florida on business.

But young Ryan was going to find out about the seedy underbelly he was naively unaware of when he signed on to his latest charge.

Little did he know the whole "seminar" and "teaching" bit was a front for one of the biggest black-market cartels in the northern hemisphere.

Tony Montana, eat your heart out...

Look for this expose this fall, tenatively titled....

"Roaching Versus Bonging." :D
