Quick sanity check here would be appreciated: I've only got 120/208V 3-phase panelboard available at this building. HVAC nameplate is below- The "single phase" 208V reference threw me off. No wiring diagram and no access to unit until it shows up. OK to feed this unit based off MOCP with a 50A/2P and MOP by (2) #10AWG - #10 Neutral & #10 EGC?

Likely, yes, as long as NM is not involved and as long the unit specifies75° termination.
(voltage drop not considered)
(agree, I would likely use #8)

What's likely tripping up the original poster is the idea of a single phase

Probably a misunderstanding as to what constitutes a phase, and the reason he's asking about a neutral

A phase is not the wire. A phase is the electricity flowing between two wires. The wires are legs

So, between leg A and leg B, is 1 phase
Between leg B and leg C is 1 phase
Between leg C leg A is 1 phase

Notice that the MOCP is for a fuse.

Good catch. Didn't see the forest for the trees.
However, not seeing the entire nameplate there may be some added info about the protection device,

Not based on the VIEW OF THE LABEL HE PROVIDED. There may be another line with breaker value, but that label specifically says FUSE.
There's nothing in the OP's posted data that says a fuse is required. Perhaps because that unit doesn't require a fuse for OCPD. The mere mention of the word fuse is not a direction that a fuse must be used.

True, and more information would be required if you wanted to be sure. But if you ASSUME a CB is going to be OK and it turns out that the unit was not LISTED with a CB, then you have to go back and add a fuse anyway. I have learned (the hard way) not to ASS-U-Me any longer.
