I have 150A, 3P panel.
The hvac loads are (3) 40A MCA, MOP 50A

Do you think 150A panel should be enough.

I wanted to verify not to run into nuisances problem because 150A 80% continues is at 120A.

Please advice?

The MCA has 25% added to the largest load of the unit (typically the compressor) so 3*40 amps is not the actual current with the units running.

You meet code minimums. Is there some possibility of nuisance tripping? Possibly, but it seems unlikely.

The panel is only feeding this 3 loads.

Hopefully they should not turn all them on at the same time either for the inrush
After power outage is when that is most likely, but if that is a problem staggered time delays can resolve this.

If they are soft started/VFD driven probably isn't a problem anyway.
