Who runs the Y1 wire from the outside A/C unit to the inside unit an HVAC technician or an electrician?
 
If you are talking about a spilt-system AC unit, when we had one installed the HVAC tech did the entire thing. If you are talking about doing anything yourself, then forum rules would not allow us to assist you.
 
No I am not asking to do this myself. I only would like to know which person I should hire. This is what I was told what was wrong from an HVAC technician but he could not fix it. Y1 wire not working also stated on my Nest thermostat
