By now, most of you are aware of the fact that I take a lot of pictures. Some of the pictures I take are for study, some for reference, some to show.
What you may not realize is that sometimes I have to put my life on the line to get these pictures.

For instance, 2 days ago I was in the parking lot of a diner taking pictures of the "great" wiring job, and...

I was almost attacked by this very dangerous, huge, venomous garter snake. The things I do for you guys. :wink: :cool:

Okay, it was not very dangerous, or huge or venomous...and maybe it was not attacking me, yeah my life is pretty boring. :D
 
Wow...you barely had time to pull out the camera and zoom in before you narrowly escaped with your life. Thanks for the dedicated service, Pierre. :D
 
How many more pix did you manage to snap before you realized you didn't have on your OSHA-required Snake Suit? :grin:

And that garter snake could have been concealing something far more sinister. Like a field mouse. Or a frog. Or a mushroom.

That ones probably on an endangered specie list and the electrician will have to account for impacting its naturally grassy habitat!

one of my neighbors was napping in a trench in guam sometime in the 40's, and woke up face to face with a pit viper, which then bit him square in the eyeball. curiously enough, the venom stayed in his eyeball, and even though he lost sight in one eye that saved his life.
 
On a similar note, several years ago I was doing some trenching and came across a nest of garters about three feet down. I'll try to dig out the pix I took of that.
 
Well since you were cornering the snake for the picture - he could have got agressive - Could have latched on to a finger, and could have given you a circular paper cut like bite - that could have gotten infected - you could have died.....

If you're the panicy phobic type you could have seen the snake, turned and ran in front of a truck.

You life was at some risk.... :rolleyes:
 
The snake will probably be aggressive against all you Poparazzi, till you meet his price for the pix. Most snakes will pose for two mice, and a cricket will seal the deal. Till you pay, may your karma, be your dogma:)
 
Very brave indeed ,..in my world every land critter would have legs ...
Just curious about two things

1. Is that a compliant way to transition.(thinking bonding)
2. Is there a concern for the physical health of that liquid tight flex??
