Maybe I just don't like things that were already cool getting renovated.

It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to log in because the protocal has changed and there was no mention of it that it's different. :roll:

I'm sure I'll like soon though. :?
 
Sam, out of courtesy they could have atleast given us some warning so we could have saved some of our PM's.

I think the webmaster mentioned (in another thread) the PM's are saved, and will be imported back after everything seems to be working.

I read that also.

Actually, I like the new look! Ater you get used to it, it's easy to navigate.
It's the same as a couple other forums I frequent.

Not that I'm here posting or answering Q's all the time, but the change doesn't sit well with me. The look is ok, but it seems a little harder to navigate through the system.
 
I remember when they changed to the "old forum" from the "older forum." That was just over three years ago. I did not like that change any more than I like this one. But I did get accustomed to the "old forum," and I am sure we will all get accustomed to this "new forum."
 
I haven't been able to post until today because the forum wouldn't recognize my username/password. I got a new one today and just wanted to try it out.
 
The reason I put this thread up is because I couldn't log on until I figured out that upper and lower cases are no longer ignored in your password entry.

I assumed this was known by now. I guess I was wrong.

Perhaps the webmaster could mention this in some way that others will become aware of the change!

Just a thought.
 
:x What's the complaints about. I had to go through the Member Directory to find my user name. Do you know how many pages there are in that thar directory? I don't either but it is a lot. :)
