Question when I am installing the ground wire in the rigid conduit to go from the ground bar to the ceiling joist do I need a seal in the pipe it's not going out of the hazardous room and staying in there thank you any information is very much appreciated all right

Assuming the location has been properly classified and documented (Section 500.4),raceway boundary seal requirements are found in Section 501.15(A)(4).

You may want to review the grounding connections though.

Thank you for your reply I went through 501-15 (A) (4) also went through the commentary table 501.1 and I didn't see anything that would require me to put a seal in the half inch rigid conduit that will go from the ground copper bus bar to the ceiling building Steel it's all in the same room and it's all class one division one but I know I do Bond both ends of the pipe I'm going to use the number 8 a w g wire and I do thank you for all your information
