Standby generator was started today. VFD on a well is about 500' from the Generator showed a fault. Preliminary diagnosis is bad underground, but I put this in 15 years ago. In conduit.

When asked about fence posts etc one of the workers said they found that conduit when repairing a water valve but "We didn't break it". Any one want to bet where we find the problem.

If they broke a hunk out of the conduit without damaging the wire at the time, gophers are next on the list.
