I just took my Master's exam for Memphis and Shelby County, TN. The test was administered by ICC out of Birmingham. I passed the test but they only tell you that you passed or failed and not the score. Does anyone know how to find out what you actually made on the test?
Thanks for any assistance.

Re: ICC Master Electrician exam results

Many testing agencies will offer a test review or strength report or something designed to aid a person who fails as to what areas he needs to improve. You may be able to use this service (usually for a fee) to determine your score. Typically passing scores are not revealed as agencies do not want scores to be used for hiring purposes. At least that was the line I was told from MA.

When I took my MA journeyman's exam I passed, but purchased the strength/ weakness report which detailed number of questions per category and number of incorrect answers. While I felt that I passsed convincingly, I wanted to know that I did for my own confidence.

I called ICC and inquired if there was anyway I could get the results. I was told that for passing scores there was no way to get the results because of discriminatory reasons. I guess I will just have to be happy that I passed. I felt like I did pretty good. I was as prepared as I could be. It would be nice for my own personal satisfaction to know what I made.

Thanks for the help.

Those whom pass with 75% get the same certification as those that scored 95%. Right or wrong, good or bad.

Did you speak to the testing agency and inquire about a "report", not necessarily "results"? Certification agency is often not the same as testing agency.
