HAS ANY TAKEN THE ICC MASTER ELECTRICAL EXAM THIS YEAR ? IF SO WHAT DO YOUR THINK ABOUT THE PLAN READING SECTION OF THE TEST. I FOUND THAT IT WAS THE MOST CONFUSING PART OF THE EXAM, THERE WERE NO THEORY QUESTIONS.

I will be taking the ICC residential and commercial inspector certification exams later this summer. I have been told by an electrical inspector in my community that the plan review question are not worded very well and the that the plans are very confusing.

I have had a hard time trying find some resources for exam preparation. ICC does not seem to provde much assistance on this. :mad:

I took the ICC electrical plan review test about 4(?)or 5(?) months ago and passed it. It was actually fairly challenging. I agree the prints were kind of strange.

ryan, did you take the exam on the computer or paper/pencil ?
