Ideas on meter tap on recessed meter

Hey guys any ideas on this. Meter combo is recessed into brick. Trying to add a small panel next to it, This panel can be surface mount. Any ideas on tapping into this and making it look good (,without cutting the brick)? Thanks

and no way to put small panel inside, back to back with meter combo?
