Identification for branch circuits

Can someone explain exactly what article 210.5 is. On my site I have mixed voltages 480/277 and 208/120 I always identified my wires by color and my panels, switch gear and transformers by voltages 480/277 and 208/120. The inspector is saying the above article states I have to put the color of my wires on the front of panels, Brown, Orange, yellow, Gray etc. Is this correct
 
The inspector is right. If you've got more than one voltage system 210.5(C) requires identification of each phase. The method used for identification needs to be "documented in a manner that is readily available", or posted at each panelboard. In my experience the posting requirement is ignored more often than not.
