Ran into a severe corona problem on a bunch of IEC stamped deadbreak connections.
The information I'm hearing is that since these were IEC rated terminators, they needed to use special IEC rated dielectric grease.
I've never heard of dielectric grease specifically formulated for IEC versus IEEE rated components, let alone it being such an important difference as to cause catastrophic failure.
Anyone shed some light on this?
