I am putting together a class on how the International Energy Conservation Code affects electrical installations. I am scheduled to present this in March at our IAEI meeting. After I started preparing, I came across an outstanding Power Point presentation for 2009 IECC already put together by the DOE.

I have decided to use their presentation and need to figure out a way to trim it down to 45 minutes which will not be easy.

My target audience will be some inspectors but the clear majority will be electrical contractors.

Any thoughts as to what I should focus on or cover the basics of in order to keep this a lively subject for the 45 minutes that I am allotted?

Thanks.

Do you have a link to the PP? Energy Conservation is varied in many applications, including Energy management. rbj

I teach this to engineers all the time. This is a dry subject but when done right is a real asset to the Engineer...way more than it is to any electricians.
