IEEE 518:1982 (R1996) is shown on IEEE as withdrawn, but withour further comment or references. The SIMILAR button only finds references to testing.


Does anyone know if a new standard replaces:
IEEE 518:1982 (R1996)?IEEE guide for the installation of electrical equipment to minimize noise inputs to controllers from external sources?

I am trying to determine the minimium cable distances between various signal cables to update a dated company standard.

It was withdrawn in 2002. Check ISA for something useful.
