IEEE 81

On a current project I have to conform to this spec:

The resistance to ground shall be measured using a fall- to - potential method described in IEEE-81.

I'm not sure what this test entails. Is there any way I can read this standard without purchasing some costly book?

I really thank the regulars here for their time invested to keep the standards of work high!

The above links can give you some information, to steer you in the right direction. If you do not usually perform this test and you do not own the equipment, and are not familiar with the proper test procedures involved, my suggestion would be to hire a firm that specializes in performing 3 point FOP ground resistance test.
