Ieee45 Cable For Comerical

we are building a comerical type building, we are using a marine grade type cable,(IEEE45) and the building inspector wants me to find in the nec 2005 ,where this is allowed...i cant find it, this cable is what we use to wire sleeping quarters for oil field use, and its applications are for coast guard and ABS. please feel free to contact me at 3376542297.
