I'm wondering if someone has a good illustration on the proper method for passing a drain wire, of a shielded cable, thru a junction box.
If one happens to be using shielded cable for a fire alarm system, some require the use of shielded cable. When the cable enters a junction box and the wires terminate to the device, the drain wire has to splice thru to the next cable. Most electricians now how to do this, and i'm trying to get out of doing a drawing on the process.
Does anyone have a good illustration of this?
