Just would like to say, i really love this forum. i always pick something up new and now, i think im ADDICTED!! . I come here at least once a week. Just would like to say 'THANKS' to all, even though some of the 'discussions' get a little heated its still good.

I wonder if there is a 'ELECTRICAL FORUM' anonomous association to help my addiction. ;)

If you only come here once a week, you are probably still OK. Some are here every day.... :grin:

I must be a addict. I spend a hour or more very day. I try and read something in the code book very day. There is so much learn.
 
It is addicting. The little woman yells at me on weekends to stop....but I can't. I have my NEC, NECH, etc. laying all over the floor and the puter monitor in my face........I need help as well. Seriously. What I like is the vast amount of knowledge on this Forum and I feel I can post researched, unresearched, or my personal thoughts regarding theory and interpretations and not feel embarassed.....simply cause ya'll cant see my face turning red. When I met Mike Holt he mentioned at one time he didnt even know he had this Forum. Wow....look at it now.
 
Once a week is not addicted. :D

Some guy here averages over ten posts per day. Any idea who that is? ;)

There's this tiny little voice that says "You're about to do it again, Wilford. You've been on this site 30 times tonight. Do you really need to click on again?" that goes off in my head, but inevitably, there I go again! :smile: I don't have a problem, though, I can quit anytime...I just don't want to. :wink:
 
You'll know when you are addicted.

If your spouse calls you to have a rendezvous and you say you'll be right down. Then when you finally got down it was an hour later and your spouse was asleep.

That's addicted and I might add "stupid" also. :grin:

I'm addicted, too. But I have a bigger addiction.... money. So if I'm not here, I'm working. :smile:

What! Once a week, I truly thought you were going to say once a day, I'm Shocked, that’s light reading, that’s not an addiction. I'm sure there's a great level self fulfillment gained here, and also believe that people see how high the bar can be. I truly believe that why the forum have more visitors, on average than daily registered users.

Lets go with Habit, be it a good or bad habit, based on the same line of statements that have be posted here it could be of the case of defining a fine line to differentiates a habit and a compulsions.

I like this habit. It's kind a like the nature of our work, it's either right, and tight, or just other...

I don't know what it is but I'm in the boat and not scared of an oar.

My wife would be happy with once a week. I agree with you that this is a great forum.
