Im back, 400 amp weatherhead question

Im back after giving up 75% of my work to help my parents out and cook at thier restaurant. Anyways, i got a 4" pipe out the roof, with 4 500kcmil copper wires, and the weatherhead is a b***h to put on, anyone got any tequniques?

after 30 years I have found no easy way just prebend the wire stack the wire as it will end up and slowly feed into the knockouts

Take an ordinary nylon rachet strap:

Wrap it around both the conductors and the pipe, and start cranking it down until the wires are bent enough to slip the w'head cap on. It may take a few tries to find the right spot on the wires (too far down may not deflect them far enough), but it's a pretty easy and cheap method.
