IMC 507.1.1 Since when?

When did the requirement for automatic operation of exhaust fans for a type 1 hoods by temperature sensors hit the codes? I see it in the 2015 and 2017 but that's as far back as I have access to.

It's not in 2012 IMC. The sensor isn't a requirement, but when there is one the IMC has requirements.
