Impact Rating???

Hi I am designing a building and the customer wants floor receptacles in his garage. Are they boxes that are rated just for this purpose. Is there code for this sort of thing. Basically just looking for something that confirms rating of rollover rating or impact rating. Thanks much

What kind of garage? Most building codes consider the area to 18" above the floor to be a hazardous location. For example in dwelling unit garages, the gas WH is put on a pedestal 18" high.

Its a "residential" garage, thats what the customer wants but really its a commercial garage. It has concrete floor and glass around so we are kind of restricted of receptacle placement. I know there are basic floor boxes that can be put in concrete, but i doubt that the regular box will be able to withhold the pressure when a car or truck drives over it.

Your standard commercial floor boxes with brass cover plates can take the pressure of a woman's high heel. Compared to that a truck tire is nothing, provided the cover is properly closed.
If you are really nervous, stick to a single receptacle in a round box instead of a duplex.
I would worry more about driving over it with a cord plugged in.
An alternative would be the stage type boxes with a large cover to access the various receptacles and a slot for the cords to come out.
None of this addresses the gas vapor issue though.
