I'm looking for something where the palm is coated in rubber or something like rubber, the top is very breatheable and the fit is extremely thin. Thin enough to pick up a bare 14g wire off of a smooth floor. Anybody have any recommendations?

GoJo makes a glove like you described. I can only find them in autoparts stores. About 5 bucks a pair. They can go in the washing machine with your work clothes. I have on occasion cut the tip of the thumb and index finger off for fine work. They have saved me from hunderds of hand cuts.

I have owned a pair of ironclads for about 9 months now, and love them... work great check 'em out. (1st post for me woo hoo!)
