I am working on a room that will require a means of grounding barrels of flammable liquids to reduce any static electricity. My plan was to provide a grounding stud on the wall and conductor between the stud and the nearest steel column. The user then could utilize a coiled grounding wire (similar to Grainger #9WN83). I am trying to find an actual product to tell the contractor to use for the grounding stud. Sadly enough my attempts to find anything legitimate have failed. So my questions are as follows: is this a standard way to accomplish this (based on your field experience); and what product / part / device should I be calling out?

For reference I have been trying to follow Annex G in NFPA 77 - my room in question is a clean room, so I won't be able to run exposed copper to tie to).

Thanks for the help!

Keri, I hope it is okay if I move this to hazardous locations since we are talking about flammable conditions.

While your set-up may not be a classified area per se, I think you might get a few more responses there for this situation.

We used to use copper

We used to use copper

In our barrel area we used a copper strip mounted to the wall that ran around the room with 10 ft of braided wire with allegator clip on one end every 10 ft.
