Art. 680.41 says the emergency disconnect is not required for spas and hottubs installed at single family dwellings. Does this delete the requirement for a motor disconnect located within sight of the motor (430.102B)?(A seperate disconnect switch?) ? Does the pump switch on the hottub itself qualify for the motor disconnecting means? I have got a few different interpretations of these questions . Got any chatter to share?

OK, I'll start.
IMO, no, it does not delete the disconnecting means for a motor. It just doesn't have to be within 5'. The switch on the tub is only a control and does not serve the same function as 430.102(A).

Even though the emergency disconnect is not required, 680.12 requires a maintenance disconnect. No distance requirement, just that it be accessible and within sight.
