I have a15KVA 480D/240, transformer being installed within 4 feet of a DCS (Distributed Control System) cabinet. Does anyone know if the transformer will cause any induced EMF into the circuits in the DCS cabinet?

What is acceptable distance in terms of installation from an AC transformer near a DC panel with circuits?

I have often seen DCS and transformers mounted within 2' of each other and many are larger than 15kVA.

Are you using grounded steel enclosures?
