Has anyone used or researched induction lighting? I am researching and request pricing on some lithonia TGL and TGR fixtures...Just wondering if anyone has used this technology...

Used it and it works

Used it and it works

I have used it in a church where the ceilings were challenging to nearly unaccessible. The congregation requested a lamp that had a longer life than the quartz fixtures they were currently using.

We actually increased the lighting level in the church three fold (this was another complaint of the congregation) and have limited their mantenance all while using the same number of fixtures they had and less energy.

The fixtures I used were made by Winona.

I was wondering how energy efficient they were and the maintenance is my concern we have hundreds of lights and the maintenance is continual was hoping to cut costs in the hard to access areas....

This was talked about here not too long ago. It sounded like the ballast might fail before the lamp fails and at that point you should replace the whole fixture.
