I am new to this question and answer forum...I need help!!
I have the panel 200a 3phase in place and have put them in through out
the states at these particular sites. They have groovers, plazma cutters, welders and threaders. Range in h.p. 10 to 5. The city inspector wants
load calculations after the fact....not all machinery will be on at any given
time..it is immposible as they don't work that way. So load cal is 216 but
panel is 200A...very sufficent for this type of plant. Where in N.E.C. does
it give reference to derating of F.L.A. based on duty cycle? I just need
NEC article that supports the 200A panels are properly sized for intented loads.
