Had a friend call about his ceiling fan not running. He has a home with a Homworks system in it.
The wall controller is multi button and it it tied in to the Homeworks system. The button controller operates 2 ceiling fans in this particular room. One fan turns on but the other fan appears to be initialized or "grabbed" by the applied power but doesn't rotate. I use the term grabbed only because I worked on vfd systems where you can see the motor respond but not spin.
I'm not familiar with Homeworks so any information provided would be helpful before I start poking around.
Thanks in advance!
