I have a question about Information Technology Equipment server rack compliance. It seems like these are fairly modular systems that allow several diverse components that are typically UL60950-1 compliant to be installed into them.
For the rack, as a completed assembly, are there any standards or requirements that apply to the whole rack after all the components (PDU’s, Ethernet switches, computers) are installed? Like UL508a applies to a panel, maybe UL60950-1 would be applied to the rack at a system level? Or if the internal components are listed no system level testing is required?
