When installing an inline AC ammeter do I need a shunt?
I don't believe I do, but not certain.
20 amp circuit supplying backup power to an inverter.
normally there is zero amps. when activated the amp draw will be between 150mA and 200mA.
I bought an inline 300mA AC ammeter and planned to feed the hot directly through it.
any problem?
