When I rewired most of my house I started receptacles within 1' of door entrance then every 8', dedicated 20 amp 120 volt receptacle under at leas one window in every bedroom ( in case Central AC would be down for several days could throw a window unit in ), receptacle in every hallway with a built in LED light that turns in at night. Put each bedroom, living room & dining room on its own 20 amp circuit, Forget about using a single pole10 amp circuit breaker with 16 gauge wire for all of the LED lights, Have hallway, kitchen & mechanical room lights on different general use circuits. Even if you do not have an EV install a,1" conduit or 6/3 NM cable to where you would use but ( inside garage or outdoors by driveway ). Electric floor heating in bathrooms with showers & or bathtubs, LED luminaries ( hi hats ) in closets, If you are installing outdoor security lightning nice to have a switch in master bedroom along with one or two on first floor, I ran central vacuum tubing to both floors & basement and cheap me used a 120 to 24 volt transformer with a relay & a time delay off relay set at 30 minutes to a 16 gallon shoo vac that I owned ( been running trouble free for the 40 years that we have been using it ) .If you have a basement run at least two 1" conduits to attic ( 1 for power, 1 for low voltage , one for Cat 6 or other cables, not a fan if any lightning controls because after 8 or 10 years could not get any replacement boards If you plan to stay in that house for awhile would run conduit or Smurf tubing with no more then 270 degrees in bends. If you do not have a basement run a 1 or 11/4" conduit from circuit breaker panel to attic. I installed receptacles in my living & dining rooms and did not use them until years later .Good luck.
