I have seen some product input voltage ratings are written as A/B Volts and sometime written as A-B Volts
For example ratings may be written as 120/240V and other times as 120-240V.
Naturally these conventions apply to other voltage values.

I wanted to know if these mean that the equipment is rated for an input voltage of:

1) Either 120V or 240V
2) Any voltage between 120V and 240V

Does it have a code that manufacturers follow that clarifies this?

Only an unwritten code.

A-B means everything from A to B.
A/B means A or B.

For example 120-277 includes 120, 208, 240, 277.
120/277 would indicate either 120 or 277.
