Inside a UF cable.

What are the conductors inside a Direct burial cable? We had to make a repair and used individual splices with Heat Shrink, then another shrink over them. The customer thought we could just splice some THHN to it. (it was pulled into a conduit.)

I have never seen this cable before. Four #6 black insulated conductors with a bare stranded.
Now that I think about it, it looked like a large Tray cable. It was rated DB and Sunlight resistant.

My vote is for tray cable. Odd, but the all black conductors give it away as TC.
